From a very young boy, Anthony has been singing and playing piano to his heart content as a source of joy to many. His earliest memories include performing in the local gala and receiving a medal at the age of 4 and singing with his twin brother Dominic for the Lord Major of Dublin at the Mansion House at the age of 7. ... Anthony has been singing in choirs at school, college and university. He has accomplished honours in grades up to 8 in piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). He received a distinction in grade 5 theory at the Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). He has a bachelors degree in philosophy and music at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUIM) receiving a first-class honours in performance in singing (2010).
Among other musical achievements over the years, Anthony won ‘Mature Student of the Year’ at Waltons New School of Music; receiving a year’s free lessons and ‘Piano Student of the Year’ at Waltons; receiving a Roland electronic piano. He performed in concert with his twin brother in a mini theatre in Canada and in the Gaiety Theatre and National Concert Hall in Showboat and H.M.S. Pinafore with the R&R Musical Society.
More recently, Anthony has been singing on various occasions in the prestigious Ballyfin House hotel, in Laois, Castletown House in Dublin, and a selection of hotels throughout the country for events. He gives quality piano lessons and is dedicated to church music as an organist, singer & choir director.
Most recently, Anthony has published his debut album Yours is My Heart Alone, a selection of romantic classics (2019), and is lead singer on a Catholic prayers & hymns CD entitled I Thirst (2022).
